Invitation to Tender: External Audit of the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General

The Chair of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) is inviting tenders for the external audit of the financial statements of the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG).Under the Comptroller and Auditor General (Jersey) Law 2014, the Chair of PAC is responsible for appointing the auditors of the Office of the C&AG's accounts. The Chair is therefore seeking to appoint a suitably qualified audit firm to undertake the audit of the Office's financial statements for the years ending 31st December 2026 to 31st December 2030, with an option to extend the appointment for the audit of the financial statements for the year ending 31st December 2031.
The tender exercise is intended to secure the delivery of a high quality, independent audit in accordance with auditing and ethical standards issued by the UK Financial Reporting Council (FRC).
The appointment follows the conclusion of the current audit contract and reflects the need to ensure continuing auditor independence for the Office of the C&AG.
