P.24 Draft Residential Tenancy (Jersey) Amendment Law 202-.
Members then returned to the debate regarding proposed changes to the Residential Tenancy Law. The debate had been paused while an updated version of the law, reflecting the amendments which had been approved by the Assembly, was circulated to Members. The proposition was lodged by the Minister for Housing, Deputy Sam Mezéc.
The States Assembly voted to APPROVE the Proposition, as amended, with 31 votes for, 13 votes against and 1 abstention.

P.59 Draft Income Support (Parents, Children and Housing) (Jersey) Amendment Regulations
The Minister for Social Security, Deputy Lyndsay Feltham, proposed regulations which will define a 'family unit' and how the housing component of income support is divided between occupants.
It will not impact the amount of Income Support payable to eligible households and aims to provide more consistent data collection and efficient claim processing. It will also allow students in full-time education to work and not negatively impact their household’s income support claim.
The States Assembly voted to APPROVE the Minister’s proposition, with 45 votes for, 0 votes against and 0 abstentions.

P.60 Jersey Employment and Discrimination Tribunal: Appointment of Members
The Minister for Social Security, Deputy Lyndsay Feltham, is proposing to appoint several lay members to the Employment and Discrimination Tribunal, for a period of five years:
- Employee Panel members: Alison Brown, James Thompson, Grzegorz Lukowski, Robert Douglas.
- Employer Panel members: James Lambert, Josephine Scott, Lisa Payn, Simon Soar.
- Discrimination Panel members: Pioneny Colvile, Rhodrick Chatikobo, Sabrina Stewart, Wali Ul Islam
