REPORT
Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3), the Minister for Infrastructure hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of Jersey Property Holdings to agree to the following –
(a) Land transaction –
To approve cede and transfer a strip of land at the former Water's Edge Hotel, Les Charrieres du Boulay, Bouley Bary, Trinity , identified in Schedule 2, and measuring approximately 1.5 meters in width, by 20 meters in length, to W.E (Jersey) Ltd in exchange for W.E (Jersey) Ltd undertaking at its cost, the clearance of the area of the Public's slip road affected by the land slide, the construction of a retaining wall and stabilisation works at the base of the rock face in order to reinstate the boundary of the remainder of the Public's land. The transferee has agreed to cover all costs relating to the land clearance and stabilisation works together with all legal and other costs incurred by the Public in relation to any required land transactions and associated road extinguishment costs which may be required for the Second Contract.
The Minister hereby authorises, as applicable, the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public; and the Director of Property Holdings to conclude any contract which is required to be concluded on behalf of the Public.
After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
