REPORT
Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3), the Minister for Infrastructure hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of Jersey Property Holdings to agree to the following –
(a) Land transaction –
To agree to cancel the 83 years 3 months Lease, as held by the Tenant, and transfer to the Tenant the Flying-Freehold ownership of Apartment 2, Block E, Quennevais Park, La Route des Quennevais, St Brelade, JE3 8GE, for a consideration of £37,660, plus reasonable costs incurred.
In addition, and in accordance with the policy, the Tenants will be required to reimburse the Public its reasonable costs incurred in connection with this matter and to fully pay all due previous communal cost charges on Block E in respect of the Apartment.
The background to the project to transfer the Long leasehold apartments at Clos des Sables and Quennevais Park, St Brelade, and Maison d'Azette, St Clement, is set-out in the report accompanying MD-PH-2012-0124.
The Minister hereby authorises, as applicable, the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public; and the Director of Property Holdings to conclude any contract which is required to be concluded on behalf of the Public.
After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
