REPORT
Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3), the Minister for Infrastructure hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of Jersey Property Holdings to agree to the following –
(a) Land transaction –
To agree for the Public to enter into a new 99-year lease with Andium Homes for the property known as The New Li mes Day Care Centre, Green Street, St Helier and parking spaces. The annual rent will be £1 at lease commencement. The unit will be occupied by Health & Care Jersey who will take full budget responsibility for the lease associated costs.
A Ministerial decision made 14 June 2017 agreed to dispose of The Li mes site to Andium Homes Li mited to provide interim keyworker accommodation prior to assembling a site for a residential development subject to the terms of a Development Agreement. In the Development agreement Andium agreed to provide a replacement for "The Willows Day Care Centre"
The Minister hereby authorises, as applicable, the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public; and the Director of Property Holdings to conclude any contract which is required to be concluded on behalf of the Public.
After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
