COMMENTS

The Environment and Public Services Committee supports the proposition and is content to nominate a member of staff to carry out the role of ensuring continued commitment to the Fairtrade initiative. Given the minimal nature of these duties the Committee will accommodate this role within its existing resources. There are no other financial or manpower resource implications.
