The Policy and Resources Committee has estimated the cost of the proposed Committee of Inquiry at £91,000, which the Finance and Economics Committee would fund from the General Reserve. The Committee notes however, that the remuneration for members of the Committee of Inquiry may set a precedent which may have ongoing financial implications for future Committees of Inquiry.
