Background
As Members will be aware, the Chief Minister presented a Report to the States entitled Succession Planning in the States of Jersey' (R.14/2008) on 12th February 2008.
Discussion
Deputy R.G. Le Hérissier's amendment to the Annual Business Plan 2009, P.113/2008 Amd.(9), is entirely in line with the recommendations of that report, which was approved, in its entirety, by the States Employment Board at its meeting of 7th February 2008.
Accordingly, the Chief Minister wishes to accept the amendment of Deputy R.G. Le Hérissier regarding succession planning.
