COMMENTS

I welcome a review into the implementation, operation and suitability of the Speed Limits Policy. It has been operating for over 3 years and it would be appropriate for a group to consider its success or otherwise. However, I would ask the States to support the addition of either the Minister or Assistant Minister for Transport and Technical Services as an ex-officio co-opted member of the working group being political representatives of the department responsible for speed limits within the Island.
