COMMENTS

The Chief Minister is shortly to bring forward a revised Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Jersey) Act, to replace the existing 1952 Act. This will deal with the question of Liberation Day and hence the Council of Ministers recommends that further debate on Liberation Day should wait until then.
