THE STATES commenced consideration of a proposition of Deputy Max Brennan Andrews of St. Helier North entitled Consultation and Report on Pre-Sale Agreements for Land and Property Transactions' (P.34/2025) and rejected the proposition to request the Chief Minister, in collaboration with the Minister for Housing, to conduct a consultation with interested parties regarding the use of pre-sale agreements for land and property transactions, with a view to presenting the findings of the consultation to the Assembly no later than June 2027.

French National Identity cards as valid travel documentation for French Citizens P.36/2025
THE STATES commenced consideration of a proposition of Deputy Sir Philip Martin Bailhache of St. Clement entitled French National Identity cards as valid travel documentation for French Citizens' (P.36/2025) and rejected an amendment of Deputy Philip Francis Cyril Ozouf of St. Saviour (P.36/2025 Amd.) that, after the words "to maintain" there should be inserted the words "and extend", and after the words "travel to Jersey" there should be inserted the words "to short stays of up to 72 hours".
