Addendum to comments
The Finance and Economics Committee is now in possession of more up-to-date information on the costs of an extension of the transcription service to Scrutiny Committees.
It was thought that the recording equipment to be purchased for the States Assembly would also service the Scrutiny Committees; however it would appear that this is not the case. There will be a one-off cost of £32,000 for the equipment and annual running costs have now been estimated at £102,700 a year.
