Re: Hospital Programme Update
Thank you for your letter dated the 11June. I can confirm that I will not be bringing a separate proposition on the funding proposals for delivery of Phase 1 of the Programme.
The timetable for the New Hospital Facilities programme outlined in last year's Government Plan remains on track. I appreciate this will be a significant debate for the Assembly but it is appropriate and important that this debate should take place as part of the Budget debate, when the Assembly considers all competing spending pressures and sets overall expenditure within that wider context.
