Animal Welfare & Control Review Report – Ministerial Response

Dear Minister,

I am writing in relation to the Environment, Housing & Infrastructure Scrutiny Panel's Animal Welfare & Control Review Report [S.R.7/2026] which was published on 10th March 2026. A Ministerial Response was requested from the relevant Ministers with an agreed deadline of 17th April 2026. However, the Panel notes that it has not received a response from yourself within the agreed timeframe.

This letter is therefore to formally note for the successor Panel that this remains outstanding at the conclusion of the term.
