Environment Scrutiny Panel Review
The Design of Homes
Have you experienced the realities of living in a recently built small home? Are you an architect, developer or builder working to provide affordable accommodation within the constraints of planning policy and the Building Bye Laws? Are you affected by current policies on domestic parking provision?
The Environment Scrutiny Panel has launched a review of the legislation and policies that determine the design and specification of homes in Jersey. It needs your help.
The Panel invites written submissions from individual members of the public, from professional associations and from other interested parties who believe that they have something to contribute.
The terms of reference are as follows
- To review policies and advisory notes concerning the design and specification of residential accommodation and to consider any social,
economic and environmental implications arising.
- To review the rules, procedures and specifications contained
within the Building Bye-Laws (Jersey) 2004.
The lead member selected by the Panel to manage the Review is Deputy S. Power.
