Health and Social Security Scrutiny Panel PUBLIC CALL FOR EVIDENCE
Long-Term Care Scheme
The Health and Social Security Scrutiny Panel is gathering evidence for its review of the Long-Term Care Scheme. The Panel is looking into how the Scheme is administered particularly the assessment process, the waiting list and the transitional period of registering onto the Scheme. Are you receiving the benefit for your long-term care? Perhaps you are due to be assessed to receive the benefit? Or maybe you are caring for someone who is currently registered on the Scheme. If you have any experiences of the Long-Term Care Scheme then the Panel want to hear from you.
What was your experience of the assessment process?
How long did you have to wait before you were in receipt of the benefit?
If you could make any improvements to the Scheme what would they be?
The Panel would be happy to receive evidence relating to any aspect of the Long-Term Care Scheme.
