JEP 3.4.2013 advertisement calls for comment.

This appointment is essential.
Jersey needs this Minister not only for trade development but to protect our degree of independence relative to UK and EU.
The appointee must have a wide grasp of international relations and be of legal standing. Sir Philip Bailhache would be a good example.
This appointment will involve travel and expenses requiring a generous budget and back up regarding local customs; these will differ from our own culture but must be accommodated for a project to be successful.
