The Draft Sea Fisheries (Minimum Size Limits) (Jersey) Amendment Regulations 202- (P.53/2025) were lodged au Greffe on 26th June 2025 and listed for debate at the meeting on 9th September. Giving regard to the volume of time-sensitive States business at that meeting the Minister for the Environment offered to defer P.53/2025 until the next meeting of the States Assembly on the 30th September 2025. This offer was accepted. To reflect the new timeline, the Minister is proposing a change to the commencement date of the Regulations so that an appropriate period of notice would apply should the Regulations be made by the Assembly at the forthcoming debate.
