REPORT
Under Article 24(1)(a) of the States of Jersey Law 2005, the Chief Minister shall appoint one of his Ministers to be Deputy Chief Minister.
In accordance with Article 27(1) of the States of Jersey Law 2005, the Deputy Chief Minister will discharge the functions of the Chief Minister during –
- the temporary absence or incapacity of the Chief Minister; or
- a vacancy in the office of Chief Minister.
On 13th November 2014, the Chief Minister acting in accordance with Article 24(1)(a) of the States of Jersey Law 2005 made a Ministerial Decision (MD-C-2014-0185, available at www.gov.je) appointing Senator A.K.F Green, MBE, Minister for Health and Social Services, as Deputy Chief Minister.
