The decision is to approve the re-appointment of Chair to the Social Security Tribunal. The individual concerned has already served an initial 5 year period as Chair and the proposal is that they serve a further second period of up to four years.

Groups of children could include early years, primary or secondary education; young adults; children with additional learning needs; disabled children; children living in poverty; children from particular ethnic backgrounds; migrants; refugees; care experienced children and LGBTQ+ children

Since this is a re-appointment, no group of children and young people are likely to be affected.
