WRITTEN QUESTION TO THE MINISTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT BY DEPITIY M.R. SCOTT OF ST. BRELADE

QUESTION SUBMITTED ON MONDAY 17th APRIL 2023 ANSWER TO BE TABLED ON MONDAY 24th APRIL 2023

Question

“With reference to Written Question 220/2022, will the Minister advise –

  1. what progress, if any, has been made in scoping the workstream, and defining the resources required, for the St. Brelade ’s Bay Improvement Plan;
  2. what process will be followed, and what level of consultation there will be, during this scoping; and
  3. whether the Improvement Plan is on track for completion by the end of December 2023?”

Answer

  1. Work to scope the workstream to deliver the improvement plan is underway. The resources required will be dependent upon the scope of the work.
  2. The Minister for the Environment will consult with the Connétable and parish deputies about the proposed scope for this workstream.
  3. As previously stated, it is anticipated that the scope of the workstream to deliver the improvement plan will be defined, together with the resources required to deliver it, during the first half of 2023, to enable the workstream to be completed by the end of the year.
