Dear Chair,

Thank you for your letter in reference to my predecessor's Ministerial Response (S.R1/2022) to the Panel's report on the regulations for the licensing, production and export of Medicinal Cannabis in Jersey.

For clarity, I am committed to delivering the actions agreed with the previous Panel. However, ultimately the new Ministers with specific responsibilities will need to review the actions and timelines they have inherited. On the basis of the hiatus caused by the election period, which came very soon after the Ministerial response and once consideration of Departmental and Council of Ministers priorities have been determined, I would anticipate that revised timelines can be provided in Q4 this year.

Yours sincerely,

Deputy Kirsten Morel
