Dear Minister,
Firstly, thank you for your response letter of 24th February with regards to our Quarterly Hearing follow-up questions. Following discussion, the Panel has further requests and points for clarification, if these can please be provided:
• copies of the existing partnership agreements with Arm's Length Organisations (ALOs), that are due for renewal this year:
- Digital Jersey
- Jersey Business
- Jersey Sport
- Visit Jersey
- Jersey Consumer Council
- Jersey National Park
- Jersey Arts Centre
- ArtHouse Jersey;
• confirmation whether review of the ALOs' partnership agreements will include implementation of recommendations made by the Comptroller and Auditor General, in the report Oversight of Arm's Length Organisations;
• confirmation of the employment grade and type of position (full or part time) of the member of staff within the Department for the Economy, to be recruited during 2023, whose wider role will also include ensuring ALOs are sufficiently resourced and meeting best practice in their governance and reporting; and,
• a delivery timeframe for when the Technology Accelerator Fund Strategic Programme Plan (SPP) will be completed, and a copy once drafted.
We would be grateful if you could provide the information requested by Friday 24th March 2023. To confirm we will be publishing this letter any response on the States Assembly website, however, are willing to receive any documents confidentially.
Yours sincerely,
