Subject: Esplanade Quarter Developments

Dear Deputy Le Fondre

I am alarmed at the speed of the Esplanade Quarter development, especially considering the events of last weekend. What I am most concerned about is the lack of openness and accountability to the public and the States Chamber regarding the huge debt that is looming before us in the next twenty years.

Please would you look into this situation as I really fear that all due process to the Island Plan and requirements set down in the Planning Permission are being completely ignored by the States of Jersey Development Company and the government itself.
