Question

Does the Comité des Connétable s consider it unacceptable to burn an estimated 40 million used metal cans and tins in the Island's incinerator and, if so, will they agree to formally canvass the views of their parishioners at Parish Assemblies over a proposal to introduce a monthly kerb-side collection for metal cans and tins and if not, why not?

The Comité has not had the opportunity to discuss this question prior to 1st February 2011 but will do so at its next meeting and will inform Senator Perchard of its views following the meeting.
