Re. Policing at Jersey Live

My three sons attended this event which they thoroughly enjoyed. It is one of the few events which are organised for the younger people in Jersey and as I feel that very little is done for this age group they should not be further penalised by having to pay for the policing of the event. As aparent who works, pays taxes, pays for private education for my children and gets no help from the Jersey Government, I feel that the cost of policing should be met by the States. Many people came over to the island for the event bringing much needed money into the island. We pay our taxes so that police are on our streets etc. Why should we have to pay twice?
