Question

What discussions, if any, has the Assistant Chief Minister personally been involved in to secure a new permanent facility for the Child Development and Therapy Centre, when the William Knott building is demolished to make way for the new hospital; and when will a permanent site be announced?

Answer

The Deputy Chief Minister, Chair of the Our Hospital Political Oversight Group (POG), has met with team members from the Child Development and Therapy Centre (CDTC) to discuss their future requirements and location.

It is not possible at this stage to say when a new permanent site for the CDTC will be announced but it will be well in advance of 2026 when it is due to leave the Les Quennevais site.
