COMMENTS
The Council of Ministers accepts the amendment and agrees that, during 2026, the Minister for Health and Social Services should publish a Women's Health Strategy which is informed by the Women's Health and Wellbeing Joint Strategic Needs Assessment 2024.
As noted by the Scrutiny Panel, the production of a strategy does not have immediate financial implications (although it does require existing staff resources to be allocated to strategy development), however the delivery of that strategy may have future financial implications which will need to be considered by the Assembly at the relevant time.
