The amendment requires £240,000 to be transferred from the Head of Expenditure for Health and Care to the States of Jersey Police. The Panel's intent is for this funding to support the Digital Forensics Unit and, also, resourcing of the Community Policing team. The impact this would have on children is in relation to the role that the Community Policing team have in their interactions with schools and the wider community. |
